Short answer: YES
We offer 3 different tire sizes: 145/70R6, 16x8R7 and 18x7R7. The actual outer diameters are 13.5", 14.8" and 17", respectively. When considering a wheel upgrade, one of the first questions that come up is "what size should I get?"
The main reason most people want to upgrade their wheels is to improve performance: they want to drive on something other than flat, dry pavement. However, let's be honest, there's a second major reason: you want it to look BADASS. It could be argued that both of these reasons work hand-in-hand. You don't want a vehicle that looks awesome but doesn't perform, but it's also no fun to have something that performs well but looks terrible.
If you choose a tire that is too small for your vehicle, it may perform great, but look not so great, like our 13.5" tire on the Power Wheels Ford Raptor.
However, if you choose a tire that is too large for your vehicle, it may look awesome, but could have interference with the wheel well and fenders, which would affect the turning radius and cause other performance issues.
Ultimately, we typically recommend a tire size that most closely matches the stock wheel diameter. From there, we look at the wheel well and other vehicle body parts to see if there would be any interference. (A small amount of interference can be remedied with cutouts.) Finally, we take into consideration the axle length and where the stock wheels sit on the axle. (Some vehicles, like the Monster Jam Grave Digger or the Huffy Torex UTV, have wheels that mount a little outside of the vehicle body, making a skinny wheel not look quite right.)
Mi Kidz Wheelz is committed to providing wheel upgrades that not only perform great, but look great, too! If you aren't sure which size to order, please reach out to us. We would be happy to work through the flow chart of considerations with you to help decide the best size for you!
